Credit by Exam (CBE)
The Texas Education Code (TEC), §28.023, allows students in secondary academic courses to earn credit for a course on the basis credit by examination. Credit by Exam
State Required Testing
For high school students there are five STAAR end-of-course (EOC) assessments:
- Algebra I
- Biology
- English I
- English II
- US History
The students must earn a satisfactory score on all five tests in order to graduate.
Additional STATE REQUIRED Testing Information
AP
Students that have signed up for an AP class will be required to take the AP exam.
The 2026 AP Exams will be administered in schools during the weeks of May 4-8, 2026 and May 11-15, 2026.

PSAT/SAT
PSAT/NMSQT/SAT school day administration date: Oct. 7, 2025
-11th & 12th graders
SAT school day administration date: March 4, 2026
-11th & 12th graders
There is no need to register with College Board for the administrations listed above. If you would like to register for a test on another date at a different site, please do so online.

ASVAB
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be offered during school at a date to be determined to any sophomore, junior, or senior.
