Wise County Shared Services

Wise County Shared Services was created by the Independent School Districts in Wise County to consolidate diagnostic and support services for students with specialized instructional needs. The organization was created over 20 years ago with six of the original seven districts continuing to work together to provide services for the students with Special Needs in Wise County. Wise County Shared Services service Alvord ISD, Boyd ISD, Bridgeport ISD, Chico ISD, Paradise ISD, and Slidell ISD.

What We Offer

  • Therapy (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Special Education Counseling)
  • Early Childhood Special Education Classrooms 3-5
  • Speech Therapy Services
  • Centrally Located Classrooms for student requiring Alternative Curriculum
  • Centrally Located Classrooms for students requiring signficant behavior and social/emotional needs
  • Centrally Located Classroom for young adults with severe disabilities aged 18-21 transitioning to supported or independent living
